Why are we called The Dougle Eagle Oktoberfest Band ?
"Under the Double Eagle" ("Unter dem Doppeladler") by J.F.
Wagner is probably the most famous German march.
Octoberfests have become popular everywhere for good time
"kick your heels up" and "let your hair down" good natured fun.
We enjoy playing "UtDE" as much as we enjoy Oktoberfests.
Hence... the Double Eagle Oktoberfest Band.
(plus we have a heck of a lot of German waltzes and polkas...
it's a tough job but somebody's got to do it!)
Sing along with us...
"Ein Prosit, ein prosit, de gemutlichkeit.
Ein prosit, ein prosit, de gemuuuuuuuutlichkeit.
Ziga zaga ziga zaga. HOI HOI HOI" !!!
